Looks like I spoke too soon. The Rule of Three has been broken by Billy Mays. This makes me sad.
Billy Mays made watching commercials fun. He could turn an infomercial into infotainment in a way that no one ever has or will.
Do yourself a favor and watch an episode of Pitchmen to learn more about the man behind the beard. He was a good guy and it’s hard to see good guys go.

Celebrity deaths almost always come in threes. I don’t know why this is, but Tammy pointed it out to me long ago and holy cow it’s true.
This week it was Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and now Michael Jackson.
So sad!

I just watched the Brady Bunch Movie for the first time in a few years.
That movie is solid gold.
They did such an incredible job mimicking the original show, from the camera movements to the pitch-perfect casting right down to the music cues, not a single detail was overlooked. Watching Gary Cole as Mike Brady you’d think you were seeing the late great Robert Reed risen from his grave to masterfully reprise his role.
