I played about two hours of Metroid Fusion tonight. This is the fourth game in the series, and it’s every bit as good as the first three. (Well, I never played the second one, but I hear it was good too!)

The California Coastal Records Project has high-resolution aerial photographs of the ENTIRE California coastline. Pretty cool!
If I were alive in 1964, I don’t think there’s any place I’d rather be than at the World’s Fair.
Companies and organizations from all over the world spent over $155 million building these enormous futuristic pavillions of technology, industry, and science. Just look at those photos!
The Fair’s unofficial icon, the all-steel Unisphere was amazing. Look at how big that thing is! It’s actually still standing today! I’d like to go visit someday.
Flushing Meadow Park is now a shadow of its former self, but a few reminders of its legacy remain. It’s sorta sad, but nothing that cool can last forever!

Chet Baker’s voice really crapped out toward the end of his life. He made a lot of recordings in the 80s (some would say too many) and man, he had lost it by then. Maybe it was the false teeth. Anyway, he never lost his trumpet skills.
Last night I had this dream that I was base-jumping off of a skyscraper in downtown LA. I had planned to land on the 110 freeway for some reason, but at the last second I decided to settle for an off-ramp. I landed, didn’t get hit by a car, pulled my parachute up into my arms, and started walking home. I never got caught.
The sound of rain woke me up this morning at 4:30. You’d think that rain would wash dirt off of a car, but in reality it just dilutes it and smears it all around so that your car looks even worse. Anyway, this morning there wasn’t a cloud in the sky so I figured it was safe to get it washed!
Geocaching is like the coolest thing ever.
It’s so cool that I want to buy a GPS just so I can play.
Lately I’ve been a lot more aware of the heat that radiates off of my body. What a waste of energy! If only there was some way to harness it.
